"Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets.   I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them."   (Matthew 5:17)

Mary, of whom was born Jesus...

*  Eve became the “mother of all the living” at the foot of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  (Genesis 3:20)
* Mary became Our Mother at the foot of the Cross (John 19:26-27); the cross is called a tree.  (Acts of the Apostles 5:30)

*  Eve was created sinless and said yes to the spirit Lucifer, and allowed sin to enter the world.  (Genesis 3)
*
Mary was created sinless and said yes to the spirit Gabriel and allowed salvation to enter the world.  (Luke 1:38); Mary was sinless when she was given the choice to obey God in order to undo/reverse the damage of Eve who was also sinless when she made her choice to disobey God.

* Eve gave mankind forbidden fruit that caused our damnation.  (Genesis 3:6 & 3:12)
* Mary gave mankind the Holy Eucharist (Jesus under the appearance of bread & wine) for our salvation. (Matthew 1:18 & 1:25; Mark 14:22-24)

* Through a woman (Eve), mankind fell from grace – as a result, death entered the world.  (Genesis 3:6)
* Through a woman (Mary), mankind is given a Redeemer – as a result, the gates of heaven were opened that we may have eternal life!
