*  The Christian calendar/liturgical year starts around the beginning of December; whereas, December is the last month on the world's calendar.

*  The Christian new year begins a season of modified penance (Advent); the world's new year begins with revelry and debachery.

*  Christians rightfully celebrate Christmas after Christ's birth; the world celebrates Christmas before His birth.

CALL TO ACTION:  Reflect on how and when you celebrate each new year!
